Summer Capoeira Festival and Encounter
Festival de Verão in Portuguese translates to Festival of Summer. This event we host is designed to share Capoeira and create conversations around Capoeira and Afro-Brazilian culture. There will be workshops that feature movement, music and history. There will as be several rodas that allow students and partitioners and teachers to play Capoeira with one another test there skills, create/develop community and feel the axé of the Capoeira.
