Including the Ginga (basic step and movement), Golpes (kicks) and Esquivas (dodges). You will also study the Roda (the circle of instruments and people that create the arena in which Capoeira is played) The Jogo (the game of Capoeira) The Battaria (The music of Capoeira) and The philosophy of the Capoeirista. Dress in comfortable workout/dance attire and dance barefoot, in dance shoes, or ballroom shoes.
